Happy New Year!

I've been seriously behind in posting due to the crazy holidays, things have finally settled down and it's time to resume crafting. This last year was great, I did about 6 craft shows and they were all so much fun. The next will hopefully be in March and I'm already preparing to sew up a storm. Above is a preview of all my new fabric , I love them all and it's always so sad to start cutting.

Here is a pic of our pretty shatterproof christmas tree. Someday, maybe in about 5 years we will be able to put our nice breakable ornaments up. Our boys had so much fun this year, my 2 year old and I made a gingerbread house and I made my littlest one his own stocking. The first three I bought the blank stockings at Michaels but they did not have the same style this year so I had to make my own to match.

Well here's to a new year of crafting!

Halloween 2007

Halloween was great fun, My little knight had fun trick or treating even though he got tired pretty quickly. His Dragon also got a little cranky towards the end. I was only able to make my older son's costume this year it only took about one evening to finish and he loved it. I wanted to make Baby Liam a costume too but ended up finding the cutest dragon costume at Old Navy so I bought one instead.

SF Craft Mafia Trunk Show

The show this weekend was a huge success and it was so much fun. I got to meet a lot of other local artists and there were some craft demo tables. I can't wait for the next one in a few weeks, I am going to be making some kids items for the Pip Squeak a Go Go show, Baby blankets, burp cloths and maybe some bibs. All I know is it is going to be a busy holiday season this year.

These will be my first big shows and I've been sewing up a storm getting ready. wish me luck :)

Pocket Mirrors!

I finally finished the pocket mirrors I've been working on. I designed the graphics myself and sent them to Christinerenee.etsy.com to have them made into mirrors. I think they came out cute and Christine did a great job.

Flower Totes

I just finished my latest project. I made some flower totes as a special order and I'm also working on about 15 more new bags. It's been a lot of fun especially going fabric shopping! Each bag has flower and leaf appliques , embroidery and they also have button details.

New!!! Bird & Shroom Pouches

These little pouches are the newest addition to my shop. They are perfect for carrying change, credit cards, lipstick. I like to use mine as a wallet. Depending on the vinyl used some of the appliques are hand stitched .

Checkbook Covers


These covers are super cool and really durable, I use mine all the time. They are made using laminated paper and close with a snap . I've always loved scrapbook paper ( so many pretty designs) and I finally found a way to incorporate it into my sewing.
